How Does A Construction Completion Hard Money Loan Work?
To obtain a hard money loan for construction completion, the borrower must have the following:
A free and clear property (with no outstanding mortgage) that is mid-construction and has a certain level of equity. The roof and interior framing must be complete. Drywall does not need to be installed.
Documentation about the property, including plans, permits, and estimates for the remaining work to be done.
A Fix and Flip Renovation that is in the midst of rehab, and additional funds are needed to complete the project.
Based on this information, EquityMax will determine the amount and detail of the loan, and we can finance up to 100% of the remaining rehab/construction budget, subject to LTV thresholds.
The borrower will then receive the loan amount in a single lump sum, which can be used to pay for the remaining construction costs. Or, the borrower can choose to accept the funds in draws.
